A smallish spider, but big enough that it would've scared me if found indoors. I could've used another +.33 exposure... Kind of resembles a category I see called house spiders. I believe that spiders and houses do not mix.

Spiders who weave webs must hate rainy days.

I made a point of not making this too photographery because everybody takes pictures of wet webs and thinks they're being so artistic. Not that I'll pass up the opportunity if I should happen to find one that's just right with a good spider in it one of these days. If you're going to do something trite, you need the right reasons, yes?

slender crab spider, which is a kind of _running_ crab spider, which is apparently different from a crab spider.
Oddly, the plain old crab spiders are the ones described as liking to wait on flowers, and these guys here I observe all the time (right time of year, that is) waiting around on flowers.

well-camouflaged legs. Overall, it sort of resembles a category i see called wolf spiders. The sort of tapery legs, and body reasonably similar as well.
