Green Stink Bug.

This image was taken about one second before the wave washed us both away. Maybe technically I just hightailed it for a good ten feet.

Even though everything is semi-bad that I take on sunny sand, I enjoy trying. This one filled enough of the image that spot metering worked out.

Interestingly, none of the others I saw on the web had that little bit of yellow on the back point of that triangular thingthe scutellum. That sort of suggests Say's Stink Bug, but it looks a lot like Green in general. I know, like it matters, like people read this...

the nymph again. Signs point to the genus Chlorochroa. ...ah, I see that Say's is in chlorochroa as well. I'll mention that the red suggests Conchuela Bug.

The green stink bug again. This image is relatively valueless, but I think there's too much of bird's-eye-viewing when it comes to tiny things photos.
