Well, this really isn't a bird camera.
But anyway, it came over because I surprised another one who was in the grass and had flown about two meters in alarm. You'd think nest, but I've never seen nests on the ground, and I have seen sparrow nests in trees. I _could_ look up whether tree nesting is invariant. Never even seen ground eggs for the killdeer, which incidentally I didn't see this year. Maybe because their usual area stayed filled with driftwood. That driftwood sure has been a disappointment.
