Took a long time for the foot to emerge. Four or five minutes, I think.
First time I've seen one of this type still ummm inhabited. The other kinds of clams shown in the past here...oh, sometimes. Mostly cockles, though. If they don't count as clams, anyway. There's also one kind of big shell that I've never seen have anyone still inside, but it's always possible, one of these days, right?
Hmm but then I'm assuming that the other ones don't look like this when they get bigger. Ehh, anyway...
