After several months of intense home improvements of an old house, I became intrigued with the materials used and wanted to explore their use in a fine art context.

These acrylic and latex paintings explore the relationship between texture and color, in a plastic, manufactured sense.

The emotions felt during the creation of these pieces were some of the most intense of my life. It was these emotions that in fact compelled me to paint in the first place.
